Executive Master of Health Administration

Hyflex Format

Executive MHA courses are taught in a Hyflex modality, which means that courses are taught both face to face and online by the same instructor at the same time. You'll have the flexibility to choose whether you want to participate remotely or attend classes in person at our Bellevue facility.

Each of our Bellevue classrooms is equipped with Hyflex technology that allows for remote participation via a live-session virtual meeting platform. Each course has a Hyflex facilitator available to assist with any technology issues or concerns, including ensuring an equitable experience for remote and in-person students.

We believe that a Hyflex learning environment enhances the overall student experience while connecting health care professionals across our region and nationally to our highly ranked program. The Hyflex model accommodates working professionals with shifting career and family obligations by allowing students to choose the learning modality that works best for their circumstances in real time.

For those who live in the region, we strongly encourage you to attend in person the following program activities:

  • Orientation. In-person attendance helps facilitate a smooth start to the program and gives you the opportunity to get acquainted with other students and faculty.
  • Capstone presentations. In-person attendance gives you the opportunity to present your capstone project and celebrate the completion of the EMHA program together.
